ACCOUNTABILITIES

o Identify format specific customer needs and define target customer
o Maximize turnover and margin and analyze the customer survey data (including Mystery Shopping) to build assortment and activities for his/her sub-category in line with customers' expectations
o Collate future trends and innovations as per market situation and potential for the category with vendors data
o Monitor competition survey for offline and online
o Execute the strategic sub-category plans aligned with defined roles in accordance with the overall Company positioning and market chances
o Design the category dimensions & planograms according to the overall Company strategy and format customer needs
o Develop latest trends in products by sub-category and customer patterns
o Update and define the range to meet format specific customer requirements
o Develop and respect QA related aspects including Supply Chain by sub-category
o Set competitive sales price / margin settings based on market constraints and market potentials
o Constantly monitor net net net purchase prices (COGS) and take corrective actions for his/her sub-category
o Design and update “Lego like” sets for different purpose (e.g. core, seasonal, destination) to create efficiencies into assortment by sub-category
o Actively search new business opportunities, business models, services or products.
o Test, local listing and rollout and develop and set offers / promotional activities (including in-store) and forecast quantities by sub-category
o Analyze and present internal data, score card system and market intelligence for KPI based supplier negotiations (turnover, stock, working capital, format specific trade terms) by sub-category
o Operate as per defined vendor's role with format/category
o Maintains and propose corrective actions for stock levels, stock turns and stock availability by sub-category
o Manage increased stock turns to achieve negative working capital
o Comply with the negotiated trading terms for all sub-categories in respect of company compliance
oDistribute and assign the yearly plan and details with key activities for all sub-categories
o Control waste in collaboration with stores and ensure freshness, proper quantity planning and pro-active price management by sub-categories
o Weekly visit on business and turnover development potentials, getting aware of issues and proposing corrective actions
o Communicate format and category specific know-how to stores (documentation)
o Conduct operations regular sub-category performance related update and learning sessions
o Suggest a plan, agenda, audience, and content; implement planograms in the format; and study the performance of sub-categories

o 5-10 years experience in Retail environment
o Strong skills with: Supplier management, negotiation, contract development/analysis, supplier evaluation, price/cost analysis
o Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
o Excellent market research and trend analysis skills
o Strong strategic/long-range planning skills
o Problem solving skills
o Good organization skills and the ability to multitask
o The ability to cope with the pressure of having to make important decisions and meet tight deadlines
