    Job Purpose
    The role holder is responsible for managing external management training activities for STC by enrolling participants for external management training programs, consolidating the required training material, ensuring that logistics activities are provided efficiently and ensuring delivery of assessment centers as per the contract in order to enhance and develop employees’ knowledge, skills and competencies required to achieve the business objectives of STC. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures
    Key Responsibilities
    Participates in the development and implementation of the Management Training plans, in line with the corporate objectives

    Directs and manages the External Management Training Section mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards

    Interprets and implements change in the External Management Training Section providing guidance and support, necessary for continuous improvement

    Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the External Management Training Section

    Ensures that the Sector strategy is cascaded for the External Management Training Section and develops business plans for the Section to drive the achievement of the desired objectives

    Plans and budgets for External Management Training activities

    Manages the delivery of the external training activities as per the assessment outcomes (IDPs)

    Consolidates the required training material and liaises with the Documentation Management Department to update training material on the database

    Coordinates with the Personnel Services Department to ensure that the participant profiles for the training programs are updated

    Develops and maintains the attendance policies for all external management trainings

    Ensures adherence to set quality guidelines and parameters for the Conferences & Specialized Programs Section and takes necessary action to rectify any deviations

    Provides support for logistics activities like visa, transportation, etc. for the participants

    Plans and budgets for employee assessment centre service activities

    Coordinates with the Career & Talent Management Department to finalize the contract negotiations for assessment center services

    Manages relationship with vendors and ensures delivery of assessment centers as per the requirements and plans defined in the contract

    Ensures adherence to set quality guidelines and parameters for the External Management Training Section and takes necessary action to rectify any deviations

    Follows appropriate processes and systems to manage and share knowledge, expertise and professional experiences within the Section

    Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective application of the STC performance management process

    Directs planning and selection of manpower in the External Management Training Section, in line with the business and operational plans

    Ensures high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing on-going feedback and coaching team members within the External Management Training Section

    Qualifications/
    Certification

    Bachelor’s Or Master degree in Human Resources/Business Administration or equivale

    Required
    Experience

    A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

    Desired Skills & Knowledge

    Sound knowledge of all of STC’s internal operational and business processes

    Strong networking and relationship building skills

    Excellent knowledge of human resources areas

    Excellent written and oral communication skills

    Strong HR advisory skills

    Strong planning and coordination skills
