An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Saudi Maintenance and Supply Chain Management Company (SMSCMC) a BAE Systems majority owned Joint Venture, as a Head of Supply Chain Operations, based in Riyadh.

Take responsibility as the Supply Chain Control Account Manager with budget responsibility for supply
Direct and lead the O&AT Supply Chain team based in KSA.
Ensure that the Supply Chain meets all Assurance and governance criteria and supports all aspects of maintaining Continuing Airworthiness.
Direct and manage all aspects of the O&AT spares and repairs business to ensure that BAE Systems reputation in KSA across the customer base, EOCs and Saudi industry is enhanced and is recognised for its significant contribution to the Home Market Strategy.
Develop efficiencies into the O&AT supply chain to reduce costs, improve performance and deliver increased margins to the business.
Provide the Head of Technical Operations with the Supply Chain output required to maintain the engineering and maintenance output to the Officer and Aircrew Training (O&AT) service at KFAA, Riyadh and KFAB, Tabuk with due regard to affordability and cash flow profiles.
Ensure project compliance with the Operational Framework and Life Cycle Management (LCM) process and maximise customer satisfaction by the delivery of Project Managed products and services to the highest standards.
Develop and exploit the Supply Chain capability within KSA industry. Specifically, work transfer to the EOCs to enhance their business and performance capabilities.
Provide the RSAF and MODSAP with a senior Supply Chain point-of-contact to assist in O&AT business integration, project performance, communications, issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
Implementation of the O&AT communications policy to engage and inform Supply Chain personnel, vendors, partners, the customer base and MODSAP.
Accountable to the Head of Technical Operations for all aspects of the O&AT Supply Chain business in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Leading and managing the personnel within the O&AT team for whom he is responsible.
Delivery of those aspects of the O&AT programme for which he is responsible to achieve the following:
1. Meet or exceed the key project financial parameters.
2. Develop the Supply chain Personnel to achieve Saudisation targets
3. Meet or exceed customer expectations to achieve financial and operational performance.
4. Drive and lead the achievement of improvements to customer satisfaction.
5. Deliver the project to both internal milestones.
6. Resource the Project to achieve maximum efficiency of IBP budgets.
Delivery of the O&AT Supply Chain inputs to the BAE Systems business, financial and project reviews as follows:
1. Quarterly Business Review (QBR).
2. Project Directors Review (PDR).
3. Project Reporting System (PRS).
4. Contract Support Review (CSR).
Provide, as required, Supply Chain capability expert domain knowledge to achieve acceptable performance standards in KSA industry.
Compliance with the Operational Framework and LCM mandates and principles.
Control and direction of the budget, resource levels and capabilities within the O&AT Supply Chain team to ensure that they are capable of meeting and discharging the programme’s obligations and customer expectations.
Extensive Project Management experience with specific experience in a Supply Chain capability role.
Management of a large and complex support project with a proven record of delivering business, project performance and customer satisfaction.
Experienced practitioner in the execution and application of the Operational Framework and LCM.
Experience of leading large, multifunction and multi disciplinary teams.
Extensive knowledge of supply chain capabilities, skill-sets and the resources required for successful deployment.
Extensive management experience in the lead role of a recognised Supply Chain capability.
Have managed a large and complex support project with a proven record of delivering business, project performance and customer satisfaction.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with customer and vendor relationship competencies.
Excellent overall Supply Chain competencies and broad Project Management knowledge. Familiarity with the LCM process recognising the marketing, design, qualification and certification processes.
Be able to direct and lead large and complex projects with a large and diverse team addressing complex and integrated Supply Chain issues.
Able to respond positively under extreme business and customer pressure to deliver consistently and underpin the long term relationship embedded in the Home Market Strategy.
Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership competencies and motivational attributes across all levels of the business, vendors and the customer community.
