Develops and teaches English or Arabic Language skills to Hospital Employees. Responsible for maintaining present programs and Designing and implementing new programs to effectively meet the Language needs of all hospital employees.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1.Conducts English or Arabic Language Placement Tests for employees and Trainees to determine their Language level.
2.Develops a program using Audio-Visual techniques for English and Arabic individualized study.
3.Teaches conversational medical Arabic to expatriate staff having patient contacts.
4.Teaches conversational and job-related English to non-English speaker staff.
5.Operates and maintains language equipment in learning canter for individualized instruction.
6.Designs and Implements new Arabic / English Programs that suits medical staff.
7.Develops on-Line courses and incorporates in the ilearn portal system.
8.Prepares translations and transliteration of educational materials.
9.Revises medical language programs in keeping with current medical needs and practices.
10.Provides advice and counselling on language and transcultural related matters.
11.Participates in self and others education, training and developments.
12.Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
13.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Arabic/English Language from recognized university is required.
One (1) year of related experience with Bachelor’s Degree or three (3) years of related experience with Diploma is required.
Tutoring Arabic or English as a second language or Arabic/English translation required.
Ability to read, writes Arabic/English Language.
