    Description • Ensure compliance with the company established policies and procedures with regard for vendor master data maintenance. • Perform vendor registration, qualification, development and improvement to supplier’s base. • Maintain and update suppliers’ database as per established guidelines and procedures. • Maintain vendors’ commodity classifications • Represent SAHARA as the focal point for vendor registration • Coordinate required approvals to maintain up-to-date approved vendor list for specific materials and/or services • Monitor vendors’ performance to improve their capabilities and partnerships • Measure & report vendors’ performance and produce reports on critical, major, and other vendors’ categories • Manage and perform vendor’ inquiries and complaints • Identify and participate in the improvement of long term relationships/partnerships with vendors • Identify potential vendors/contractors that can add value to our services to customer • Coordinate registration and qualification of regional offices • Participate in vendor recognition programs and assist in the recognition process • Participate in the development of vendor KPI’s and methodologies for vendor performance improvements • Conduct vendor recognition programs and facilitate recognition process • Develop and manage vendor KPI’s and methodology for vendors’ performance improvements • Establish an appropriate vendor reward & recognition system • Establish an effective Vendor Master database, continuously guide efforts to optimize the database • Alignment of suppliers’ database to the business needs • Liaise with responsible purchasing personnel and discuss/resolve suppliers’ qualification or performance issues and matters • Maintain and update vendor Information Database • Regularly review performances and prepare and issue analysis reports • Verify suppliers’ line of business and field of expertise and where best fitted to deliver quality and add value services to the company. • En
    Skills • Good Knowledge about Vendor Master Data Maintenance including • Vendor Qualification, Registration, Classification, Development and improvement. • Good experience in the MS-Office packages. • Capable of handling the pressure and workload. • Good English Communication skills.
