    Sales of the organization’s services (e.g., maintenance and service contracts).


    Responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in assigned territory.
    Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
    Coordinates with the other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies.

    Helps identify and engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications.

    Becomes trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers.

    Drives company's strategy into assigned accounts.

    Follows all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit.

    Ensures that the company's sales programs are known and executed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities.

    Achieves or exceeds the quarterly and annual sales goals.

    May travel frequently.



    Preferred sales experience

    8-10 years of individual quota carrying, direct sales experience selling to the senior executive level.

    Strong business acumen for uncovering, evaluating, growing and closing sales opportunities within a dynamic and extremely time sensitive environment.

    Ability to manage a large number of active accounts while simultaneously uncovering and closing new sales opportunities.

    Documented, consistent success exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets thorough account planning and weekly forecasting sessions.

    Experience developing and expanding upon existing customer relationships at multiple levels and across multiple functions within each organization with the ability to leverage those relationships to drive strong quarterly sales bookings.

    Understanding of Oracle’s core technology stack, ERP applications software, cloud-based solutions, hardware products and engineered solutions.

    Ability to navigate complex business processes and legal requirements to negotiate win-win contractual agreements.

    Articulate verbal communication, professional business writing and presentation skills.



    Requirements

    BS or BA degree (at a minimum).

    Comply with all Oracle business practices

    Sales of the organization*s services (e.g., maintenance and service contracts).

    Sells organization*s services (e.g., maintenance and service contracts); primarily finds new customers and generates new business. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.

    5-8 years of services sales experience. Able to work under tight deadlines. Self-starter able to prioritize given responsibilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. BS/BA preferred. Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role.
