Section Head, Mcroscopy & Spectroscopy Specialist #Jubail
In this role, you will be responsible to:
Carry out the spectroscopic analysis (i.e. NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, ICP etc) and microscopic analysis from operation to reporting for the polymer, polymer additive and other materials.
Evaluate, select and applie procedures and techniques in the field of spectroscopy & Microscopy analysis field
Define work-plans and approaches and assumes responsibility for timeliness, cost effectiveness, and quality of outputs. Continually aims to enhance capabilities for project planning, including assessment of cost, scope and schedule against plan.
Contribute in providing ideas to improve the efficiency of the unit in the area of relevant field.
Continually improve technical expertise and knowledge through experience and application.
Play an active role in the preparation of reports, papers, presentations, new proposals. Presents papers at technical meetings. Starts becoming part of identifiable external peer network.
Assist in planning, evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard scientific techniques and procedures.
Adhere to high process standards by applying the principles of the scientific method; documenting and sharing best practices; and engaging with centres of excellence from academia, industry, and specialized organizations.
Adhere to high process standards by implementing quality assurance processes, implementing and complying with safety and environmental standards, and respecting regulatory guidelines.
You will ideally be required to have the following requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Material/Polymer Science or related field with minimum 5 years of experience. Or
Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Material/Polymer Science or related field with minimum 3 years of experience. Or
PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Material/Polymer Science or related field from internationally recognized university (Fresh).
Good experience in the field of spectroscopy & Microscopy analysis.
