About the role:
The objectives of this role are to initiate & implement quality systems and procedures, in addition to developing plastic processing and post-processing techniques. The holder of this role will be responsible for applying laboratory testing methods applicable to plastic products & ensuring deferent performance standards are in place.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Initiating & implementing quality systems and procedures.
Developing plastic processing and post-processing techniques.
Applying laboratory testing methods applicable to plastic Products.
Supporting QC inspectors in carrying out tests and checks.
Maintaining and implementing ISO management system & other certification requirements.
Assisting the Plant Manager for any new developments in coordination with production and sales team.
Coordinating and organizing AUDIT for all kind of required certifications.
Applying deferent performance standards such as; KPI’s, 5s, KAIZEN or similar functions.
Supervising the inspection activities done by QC inspectors according to sampling and inspection plan.
Assisting in developing forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality data.
Supervising preventive and corrective actions for product related concerns & customer complaints to reduce the nonconformity percentages.
You will ideally be required to have the following requirements:
A minimum of Diploma in a related field;
Minimum 5 years of related work experience;
Excellent verbal - written communication;
Able to meet fixed deadlines and manage under pressure;
Passionate, hard worker and well organized professional with power to prioritize and multitask;
Good Knowledge about polymers & plastic Products;
Should exert sound judgment, discretion and preserve confidentiality.
