ROLE PURPOSE

The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization’s perspective.

To direct, guide and lead the operations of the Female Division in order to ensure the Divisional strategy and operations are in alignment with overall organization strategy in order to meet ELM established business goals, according to the policies and procedures followed within ELM.

Key Activities

Strategic Planning



Lead and direct the development of the Female Divisional strategy by consolidating different departmental strategies in line with ELM’s strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing Divisional strategies across ELM
Ensure that Divisional strategy and related strategic plans are developed and implemented, which are aligned with the vision and mission of ELM
Oversee the development of Division Female organization structure in an effort to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal fitment within ELM corporate structure

Budgeting



Oversee the consolidation and recommend the Female Division budget
Monitor the financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon

Female Division Operations



Pilot the Female Division by directing the business operations and work processes in order to achieve established targets while maintaining highest level of quality standards

People Management



Manage & evaluate employees’ performance with continuous feedback on their assigned targets and provide development opportunities to maximize the potential and engagement of employees
Manage the talent pipeline in the organization through recruitment, effective utilization of employee development programs, mentoring programs, career planning and succession planning
Manage Divisional changes through continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans

Reporting



Ensure that all reports of Female Division are prepared timely and accurately and meet the company and department requirements, standards, policies and procedures

Policies, Processes & Procedures



Develop and oversee the implementation of Divisional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of Female Division activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective services
Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the Division in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude
Direct and oversee the development, updates, and implementation of various information Security practices and standards to ensure compliance and the protection of ELM data and information

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic and professional qualifications


Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related field. MBA or Ph.D. is preferred.

Years and Nature of Experience


15 + years of relevant experience in IT related fields including at least 8 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
