The purpose of the role of IT Support Exec is to ensure that the organisations IT systems meet the required service levels for availability, performance and integrity. Key responsibilities include:

Resolving technical queries and usage problems, ensuring that the service delivered is consistently efficient, prompt and professional
Providing first line technical support for all devices including laptops and mobile phones
Setting up system access and maintaining access rights
Ensuring new systems and changes to existing systems are designed, developed, deployed and managed in accordance with priorities and business requirements.
Adhering to IT best practice and internal standards to minimise risk to service levels
Document and maintain policies and procedures, ensuring projects are completed within budget guidelines and maintain best practices
Assist in developing strategic plans for the development of the ICT requirements

Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
Process orientated, highly analytical and a logical thinker with a good attention to detail
Ability to effectively trouble shoot problems and work collaboratively within a team environment
Excellent technical proficiency, literacy skills and a competent computer user
Experience working within the technology industry/start-up environment is highly desirable
Educated to BS/MS level (or equivalent) within a subject relevant to the position such as computer Science or Engineering
