ome areas of responsibility include but not limited to:rnrn rnrnResponsible for the provision of an appropriate framework to provide an effective incident and crisis management capability across the group, and to lead responses to major incidents.rnDevelop and implement an effective business continuity / business resilience capability across the group that satisfies the organization’s business requirements and protects the interests of all stakeholdersrnDesign and deliver in-house Business Continuity / Business Resilience exercises, which test and prove the appropriateness of incident, crisis management, and underlying plans.rnDevelop and agree on the business resilience strategy with key stakeholders.rnMaintain a forward-looking horizon including current and future threats to the business, adequacy of current mitigations and actions, and propose / lead initiatives to increase appropriateness of responses.rnLead and develop business resilience practices and provide education, training, and awareness to support the business resilience strategy and incident response.rnProduce reports and analysis of incidents including root cause, and follow up activities to senior management as requiredrnMonitoring and maintaining knowledge of business continuity standards, events, developments through research, conferences, and training courses.rn rnrnThe ideal candidate must have the following Qualifications and Experience:rnrn rnrnBachelor degree or equivalent in a Business Continuity relevant discipline. Master degree in business continuity related field and/or Business Continuity Institute (BCI) membership will be an advantagernBasic IT skills with a working knowledge of the range of MS Office packages and knowledge of electronic security systemsrnAt least 10 years of business continuity and crisis management experiencernExperience of managing incidents, including decision making, influencing, remaining calm under pressurernExperience of writing procedures, drafting reports, preparing business cases, compiling, and adjusting duty rosters to meet shortfalls in staffing levelsrnFluent or Excellent in English communication (written and verbal)
