over that exceeded US.36 billion in 2014 The Role The core purpose of the role is to lead the Almarai group research enablement and development strategy across all product segments. This will be achieved through the optimisations of existing processes together with the identification and creation of new processes for higher brand value and improved business performance Responsibilities To lead the research enablement function providing expert guidance to the business on physical food science To create competitive commercial advantage through the use of new technologies and processes within a cross functional matrix environment To manage and develop the process development team ensuring a viable succession plan is in place covering business continuity and the future technical requirements of the business Essential Requirements Currently working in a senior role within a R&D function specifically in a process enablement role A food science or food engineering related bachelors with ideally a further masters in a related field A minimum of 15 years experience in a similar commercial capacity ideally within a dairy or food & beverage manufacturing environment Excellent experimental design and analytical capability with a verifiable history of delivering product formulation solutions This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and expanding global business, offering an excellent remuneration and benefits package.
