[LEFT]Our client is one of the leading Engineering Consultancy, looking for a Senior Design Mechanical Engineer to work in Riyadh. Duties & Responsibilities This role is based in the PMO office in Riyadh with frequent travel to sites throughout the KSA Reporting to the PMO director(s) & the Senior Technical Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring/ managing the mechanical technical compliance for eleven public hospital projects at various stages of construction. Specific duties will include Monitor the Technical Process generally ensuring the contractor and consultant have fully addressed all issues conce
ing the provision of and coordination of mechanical services necessary for a fully functional hospital Review Mechanical Materials and Systems Submittals Manage Technical Meetings Issue Technical Reports and Recommendations on a regular basis Carry out technical evaluations and design reviews Review contractor Materials and shop drawings Submittal Registers Review Bills of Quantity/ Specification checking for errors, omissions and conflicts Carry out regular Site Visits to monitor coordination and quality of workmanship Conduct periodic workshops for consultants relating to technical issues Provide technical support to the Construction Managers and Site Managers Mentor junior engineers when required Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: Primary Qualification - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Level 8 or similar) from an inte
ationally recognized University or Institute of Technology Should be a member of a relevant Professional Institute. Should have a minimum of 15 years of experience as a professional and previously served with an inte
ationally renowned Mechanical Engineering Consultancy and worked in the USA/Europe/Canada and or Australia. Gulf experience is essential. Should have detailed specific knowledge and understanding and performance requirements of all mechanical and related systems for operating a major hospital Should be fully conversant with all relevant hospital standards and codes of practice eg Hospital Technical Memorandum (HTM), Health Building Notes (HBN), Facilities Guidelines Institute (FGI), NFPA requirements etc. Should have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the installation and performance requirements of all medical equipment Should be fully competent in MS Office Suite.
