[LEFT]CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To Co-ordinate all Quality related aspects in the Processing Primary area. To assist the Quality team within the Plant to effectively manage all aspects of Quality. To provide assistance in risk assessments and Quality auditing in accordance with the procedures established by corporate and Divisional authority and to monitor the coordination of corrective actions.
ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION ESSENTIAL:
Degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Health or equivalent. Qualified in Quality, Quality Systems , and Quality Audits Conversant with best practice Quality standards such as outlined by APD and ISO 22000:2005
NON ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION ESSENTIAL:
Excellent written and spoken of English
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL
Minimum of 2-year experience in a Quality role within a Meat Processing Plant (preferably poultry) Experienced in supervisory level.
Good working knowledge of Quality standards , systems and auditsCommunicating effectively with a multinational workforce.
COMPETENCIES:
Technical: Good operational knowledge of Meat Processing & Animal Health.
Good operational knowledge of Quality Systems and audits.
Good Knowledge Legislative compliance and relevant aspects.
Operational Must able to lead and command multi task work groups on Quality aspects.
Must able to conduct Quality awareness program independently.
Managerial:- Able to manage both national or foreigner employees and lead them to a Quality culture.
