Job Purpose:
Coordinate, prepare and conduct the safety training for HSSE organization and specific safety training and safety certificate for other SATORP personnel.
Scope:
Ensure the completion of the Safety training requirements for the Safety SATORP’s employees and contractor employees.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Develop, implement and deliver/conduct training needs analysis for employees and contractors’ employees related to safety policy and procedures.
2.Assist in the development of mandatory safety training matrix for all employees and contractor employees of the organization.
3.Liaise with accreditation institutions such as (NEBOSH) in regard to certification and accreditation processes for the Safety organization personnel in coordination with the Training and Career Development Division.
4.Conduct site introduction for new employees and facility visitors.
5.Maintain safety training records including specifications, requirements, curriculum, and certificates.
6.Maintain an accurate database of safety training for SATORP employees and contractor employees.
7.Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of safety training programs and develop appropriate training solutions/ changes to ensure a high level of quality and competency in coordination with the Training and Career Development Division.
8.Identify, implement and maintain appropriate training facilities, materials, and resources to support safety training requirements.
9.Submit regular reports to the Safety Superintendent and Training and Career Development Division on the status of safety training programs.
10.Analyze trends and make recommendations for improvement.
11.Perform other related duties as assigned by the Safety Superintendent.
Expected Results:
Ensure that the Safety organization’s training requirements are properly coordinated and fulfilled.
Education Background:
Diploma in Technical, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Experience:
Seven (7) years of experience in Training and Development or related areas.
