Key Responsibilities
General Responsibilities:
Handle the Container Deposit Refund process.
Handle customer queries on refunds at the counter, and assist customers to get the refunds processed.
Part of the Working capital team.
Freight Cashiering; collect incoming freight/detention payments and issue receipt to customer.
Filing the documents related to Refunds.
Specific Responsibilities:
Collect the refund documents from customer, and verify it for refund process.
Sent refund request to GSC on daily basis for payment process, after document verification.
Prepare Refund Cheques after document verified, as per refund guidelines.
Report CXED or related refund issues for trouble shooting.
Ensure incoming funds are received correctly and timely in order to support cargo release and collection process.
Ensure that cheques and funds are verified and deposited into accounts.
Execute and ensure cashier processes are completed per company and audit requirements.
Communicate effectively and professionally to customers. Ensure customer inquiries and emails are attended to within desired times.
Ensure compliance of company policies, procedures and practices.
