Job Purpose : The position is responsible for performing and/or assisting in various phases of R&D and formulation/design development activities. The R&D may include investigation of technology, concept and new product development. The position will also be involved in improvement of existing products and services. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS & ACTIVITIES : Planning & Implementation : ‒ Plan and Implement the development of new processes in areas of research. ‒ Ensure that program objectives are determined and met, and budgets are adhered to. ‒ Provide cost efficient R&D and incorporate relevant design expertise and experience in projects in line with brand/product strategy. Design & Solutions : ‒ Develop concepts, products and solutions by coordinating with business units. ‒ Understand customer expectations on to-be manufactured product. ‒ Determine and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors and customers. ‒ Transfer new technologies, products and manufacturing process into and out of company. ‒ Research, Design and Evaluate raw materials, assemblies, processes and equipment. ‒ Document all phases of research and development. ‒ Assure competitiveness and innovation of products and processes from a technological and design standpoint. Team Management : ‒ Encourage creativity in the R&D Team. ‒ Support R&D projects at group level participating in meetings and sharing technical information and “best practices”. ‒ Encourage “best-practice” sharing through participation and promotion of meetings, knowledge sharing tools and other initiatives. ‒ Develop employees assigned to his department, ensuring the correct application of tools and policies on training, career path and evaluations. المهارات Job Specific Skills : ‒ Knowledge of R&D processes and methodologies ‒ Advanced level IT Skills ‒ Knowledge of Inte
