Collect, evaluate and tu
raw data from multiple sources into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound organizational decisions; Using Mathematical Modelling, deploy models in a user friendly environment across multiple stakeholders, and provide assessment of the quality of the model and tracking therein; Develops and designs methods and procedures for collecting, organizing, interpreting, and classifying data for input and retrieval from computer, utilizing knowledge of symbolic language, optical or patte
recognition, database construction and retrieval methods; Perform detailed machine lea
ing, statistical analysis or operational research analysis of targeted databases for the purpose of opportunity identification/discovery or specific decision making; Using the most effective methods available, perform necessary pre-processing, checking and standardization of data to create a data set suitable for modelling. Using experience and knowledge, select the most effective and suitable methods and/or technology to solve the problem or implement the solution required; Performs scheduled, regular checks on all methodology and systems, recommends improvements to methods and algorithms that lead to findings, including new information, Tracks and monitors the performance of decision systems and statistical models, reporting their status and progress on an ongoing basis; Develops experimental design approaches to validate findings or test hypotheses. Validates own or others analysis using scenario modeling. Identifies/creates the appropriate algorithm to discover patte
s or trends; Assure alignment of Advanced Analytics activity with Business or Functional Strategy/priorities (e.g. MI Plan) with input from relevant leadership. Identify and document systems to be studied, identify relevant databases for targeted mining efforts, and determine and validate quality of needed data in those databases. Requirements : Postgraduate qualifications Ideally PHD in Economics/Econometrics and /or Masters qualifications in Computational Economics; 5+ years of relevant work experience in a relevant field is required Location : Takamol Holding Department : Advisory Unit
