Basic Function
Engage subject matter experts, proponents, division and department leaders and executives to develop standardized policies and procedures. Facilitates collaboration within and among key stakeholders.
Scope
The Technical Writer ensures subject matter experts, proponents, division and department leaders are provided advance notification of Medical Services Policies (MSPs) and Operating Manuals (OMs) due for review. The Associate provide proponents with copies of the MSP or OM for electronic editing and track documents to ensure they are retu
in a timely manner for preparation and distribution for final review and approval. Facilitates document review by regulatory and accreditation experts.

Department leaders, proponents, subject matter experts and executive leaders.
Principal Duties
Maintain posting of current approved MSPs and Operating Manuals OMs.
Facilitate periodic review/revision of MSPs and OMs by proponents and key stakeholders.
Professionally design high-quality policy and procedural documents that are clear, concise and accurate.
Utilize creative thinking to suggest process streamlining or improvements.
Route revisions to appropriate leaders for approval process.
Provide staff notification of revised policies and procedures.
Maintain historical archives with clear documentation of edits and accountable individual.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields is required.
Experience
Minimum 5 years in applicable healthcare setting, Registered Nurse with clinical experience preferred.
Certifications/Other requirements as applicable
Adobe In Design
Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must be proficient in written and spoken English with ability to grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text, forms and/or pictures.
