Job Description
Manage and coordinate construction works and ensure tasks are being executed in a in a timely and cost efficient manner.
Coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget.
Reports directly to the Construction Manager
Responsible for the progress of the project, and for reporting back to the Construction Manager
Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
Organizes workers on site, monitors their performance and ensures compliance with set policies and standards.
Monitors all logistics (water, transportation, etc.) for all disciplines, tools, etc.
Coordinates with the Project Engineers to ensure that the works are executed as per the drawings and technical requirements
Reports material and tools requirements on site, and follows up in case of any shortage
Coordinates operationally between subcontractors
Acts as the main coordinator between the site management, engineering, and supervisory staff.
Skills
Diploma or Bachelors in a related field.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communications, organization / project management skills, and a proven ability to motivate and manage teams.
Good knowledge of constructions sequences and methods.
Good knowledge of English and preferably Arabic language.
