Basic Function
Works as Safety Inspection Coordinator for Safety and Facility Compliance Unit activities within Dhahran and Districts Facilities to ensure safety of contractors, staff, visitors and patients.
Scope
The work is in Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Facility Support Services Department, in Dhahran and in Districts
(Al Hasa, Udhailiyah, Ras Tanura, and Abqaiq). Works with Facilities Support Services Department/Safety & Facility Compliance Unit.

Principal Duties
Performs routine walkthrough inspections of facilities to insure adherence to safety standards.
Coordinates with FrPD for annual Fixed Systems Fire Inspections and closure of identified deficiencies
Coordinates with Inspections Department (Saudi Aramco) for annual utility services inspections and closure of identified deficiencies
Coordinates and executes of Full Fire Evacuation and Utility Disaster Drills to be conducted quarterly in all JHAH Facilities
Coordinates with Environment of Care Inspection rounds with MPCU colleagues at DHC, and closure of all identified deficiencies
Undertaking of Construction Site Safety Inspections to ensure compliance with safety requirements as per JHAH policies and procedures.
Reports writing of identified deficiencies and liaison with project Engineers regards timely closure of same.
Assists in the implementation and monitoring of compliance to JHAH Environment of Care Program within JHAH Facilities
Acts as a resource for all safety orientated queries, suggestions, conce
s that are raised within JHAH Facilities to ensure a safe working environment
Assists in investigations of incidents and follow up of EOC occurrences that have been reported using the eOR system for timely closure
Assists in the implementation and monitoring of compliance with JCIA Facility Management and System Elements
Provides ongoing employee safety training.
Advises management on status of investigations, any ongoing issues and give recommendations for corrective action.
Education
Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree
Experience
Minimum Five years’ experience in Health and Safety
Two-Three years’ experience in a health and safety role – Safety Officer, Safety Champion
Experience with Joint Commission Inte
ational/Certification
Certifications/Other requirements as applicable
NEBOSH, Diploma Occupational Health and Safety.
Must have excellent understanding of inte
ational codes and standards applied like AIA, NFPA, UBC, ASHE, JCIA.
Ability to speak and write reports in English is required.
