Basic Function Perform housekeeping inspection and do periodic rounds to correct the deficiencies and make recommendations to improve the work quality. Provide supervision of facilities areas such as the Inpatient & Outpatient Areas, Cancer Care Center, Central Sterile Supplies, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Intensive Care Units, Operating Rooms, Laboratories and Medical Waste Treatment Areas throughout All JHAH Centers Report deficiencies and take correction actions Scope Conduct overall environmental duties to make sure the JHAH facilities are hygienically clean and presentable to the public. The work is in Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Facility Support Services Department /Environmental Services Division in Dhahran and Districts (Ras Tanura, Abqaiq, Al-Hasa and Udhailiyah). The work is on rotating shifts from 7:00 to 23:00 and to be assigned to meet operational needs as Environmental Services Division Supervisor directions. Principal Contacts It is required to contact on daily basis with the Contractor Personnel and Environmental Services Division Supervisor. Ongoing with JHAH managers. Occasional public and community contact through communicating policy changes, revisions, and/or introduction of new work rules. Principal Duties Roles include but are not limited to: Coordinate with IRC group to inspect and evaluate the physical conditions of the inpatient vacant rooms and it’s availability to accommodate the next patient. The target is to comply with safety, health and sanitation regulations. Attend, perform and complete all work location related trainings and drills. Performs inspection and supervision of specialized areas such as the Oncology Treatment Center, Central Sterile Supplies, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Intensive Care Units, Operating Rooms, Autoclave Infectious Waste treatment system, etc. Works on rotating shift schedule. Assures that the facilities are inspected according to the Quality Assurance Program Guidelines and deficiencies noted/repeated are corrected. Inspects and assures that the housekeeping supplies, materials and mechanized equipment are utilized in an appropriate and safe manner. Inspects and monitors work in progress for assigned crew to assure the effectiveness of work performance, conformance to safety and infection control standards. Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of the assigned area and initiates action for necessary maintenance repairs and follows-up until completion of the requested work in coordination with Maintenance department. Identifies maintenance repairs requiring Work Orders and initiates action for necessary work and follows-up the requested work until completion. Performs or provide guidance on specialized spill cleaning procedures such as: Blood and Body Fluids Spills, Cytotoxic Spills, Mercury Spills and Chemical Spills. Performs other miscellaneous housekeeping related duties as requested by the Shift Coordinator, the Segment Supervisor, or Environmental Services Division Supervisor. Provide full supervision for the housekeepers and the contractor supervisors. Education Two years diplima in related field is required. Experience More than 5 years experience in relevant field. Certifications/Other requirements as applicable Very good English both oral and written Ability to write reports
