Basic Function Candidate will be working as a front line employee serving Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) patients. Direction is through the unit head. Promote visibility of and accessibility to Patient Support Services which includes, but not limited to, managing conce

ment and private organization, ex-employees and non-employee regarding medical related items /issues. Receives referrals from JHAH management offices, Ministry of Health and Private Hospital, Gove
ment Correspondences related to medical leave and other medical issues. A Patient Relations candidate conducts professional field activities such as handling and following-up on patient and staff complaints, suggestions, unusual situations, patients and staff surveys, follow-up on special unit projects in JHAH facilities. ment agencies Principal Duties Medical Liaison: Responsible for the issuing of off-duty certificates for students, teachers, Gove
ment employees, escort certificates, handicap parking stickers, etc. Issuing of Immunization certificates and Blood Group Certificates to the customer. Coordinates requests for medical information received from Saudi Aramco ex-employees, non-employees, and the Aramco Services Company (ASC). Candidate required to work in different locations (Dhahran and Districts) based on operation needs. Patient Relations: Manage simple Eligible Medical Recipients (EMR) conce
s consisting of complaints, requests for assistance, suggestions, and appreciations in assigned Aramco Medical Facilities and Contracted Facilities as directed by Group Leader/ designate. Educate EMRs regarding access to, coordination of, quality of and safety of medical care in assigned JHAH Medical Facilities and Designated Contracted Facilities. Resolve conce

in Patient Relations database and submit for Patient Relations Quality Control (QC) review. Follow up on all open cases until resolution is achieved. Contact EMR to inform of resolution to conce
, determine satisfaction with resolution and document result in database. Promote visibility of and accessibility to Patient Relations services: Conduct rounds in assigned location as scheduled by Group Leader or designate. Check status of patient volume and potential problems with charge nurse of facility or care area. Maintain calm, safe environment of care by promptly addressing/managing uncooperative or abusive EMRs and help prevent unauthorized access to care areas. Provide guidance and educate EMRs in optimal utilization of health care benefits. When requested by clinicians, assist in communicating necessity of medical treatment(s) to EMRs. Maintain Professionalism: Meet criteria to maintain and renew nursing licensure and registration or other professional healthcare ensure/ registration. Satisfactorily complete mandatory education: Fire Safety, infection Control. Unit competencies; Hazmat, BLS and Life Saver is encouraged. Keep current on JHAH and Patient Relations policies, procedures and standards. Maintain professional behavior and appearance at all times. Attend self-development courses. Assist in the establishment and revision of Patient Relations norms. Complete all other duties as assigned by the Group Leader or designate Maintains confidentiality with information regarding customers and colleagues. Education Two year Diploma in healthcare related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience Minimum ten years or more of healthcare related experience preferred. Certifications/Other requirements as applicable Maintain computer skill/experience. Excellent communication skills and public relations skills. Ability to acquire quickly a basic knowledge of the organizational structure of JHAH and the Saudi Gove
ment. Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic. Medical terminology training is preferred.
