Prepares and maintains sketches, maps, report, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed. Calculates heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain. Plans and conducts ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements as needed. Determines longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas, using Total Station, levels and satellite-based Global Positioning Systems (GPS). Coordinates with consultants in servicing special requests and operational issues, as they arise. Establishes fixed points for use in making maps, using geodetic and engineering instruments. Take initiative in his works For Mega Project, report to his direct supervisor (weekly report), follow the land surveyor work, coordinate with all site management and consultant Using computer-aided design (CAD), Surveying software’s and other IT software to interpret data and present information; Keeping up to date with new and emerging technology; Researches previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys. Assumes legal responsibility for work and is licensed by state. Supervise the work activities of surveyors as requested by the engineer. Maintains surveying equipment’s in good condition and adjusts needed Skills Very good knowledge of English. Arabic is a plus.
