The Civil Military Coordination Specialist is responsible for handling all tactical civil military coordination activities related to the Control Center to ensure flexible use of airspace and smooth delivery of ATC operations. JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1 Collate all Civil and Military requests for airspace slots, combining requests to produce a daily plan for Conditional Route and airspace usage at Operations Day – 1 or beyond to ensure efficient application of the Flexible use of Airspace process. 2 Coordinate activities with Airspace Planner, ATC Supervisors and Military Officers on a daily basis in order to improve flight efficiency throughout KSA. 3 Compile data and issue NOTAM requests for Conditional Route (CDR) closures for the following day or beyond so that CFMU systems are able to properly process flight plans. This ensures aircraft do not flight plan through military activity. 4 Compile and check data for the daily Airspace Use Plan prior to the transmission, which is essential for flight planning by Aircraft Operators. 5 Compile information for the re-issue of amended closure requests when appropriate following cancellation of Military activity for the NOTAM office to ensure Aircraft operators have access to accurate information for flight planning purposes and are able to operate through the available airspace. 6 Liaise closely with the Civil Military Coordination, Military Airspace Management and SANS’ Airspace Management on ASM issues. 7 Give presentations, as required, on KSA ASM issues to interested parties as directed by the Operations Supervisor. Skills - Proficiency in both English and Arabic Languages. - Analytical Thinking - Dynamic - Quality of Service - High Level of Communication - Team Work - Results Driven Education Air Traffic Control Diploma or equivalent as a minimum.
