al promotion. The role oversees the manufacturing strategy, the day to day operations of the facility, ensuring the Key Performance Indicators are in line with defined objectives for the plant, and managing the resources of the plant.\r\n\r\n \r\nYour key areas of responsibility will be:\r\n\r\n \r\nSafety\r\nEnsuring that the safety system is defined, understood and implemented in all areas of the facility \r\nQuality \r\nDeveloping and Maintaining (along with MEA Quality Manager an efficient quality program.\r\nMaking sure that all employees are trained and understand all quality requirements \r\nLeading quality meetings in order to make sure that quality level is in line with customer expectation \r\nStrategy \r\nWorking with the Operations Director to define and implement the Middle East & Africa manufacturing strategy related to Jubail facility \r\nPlant Management\r\n\r\nTake responsibility for all activities taking place in the plant \r\nBudget\r\nWorking with the Operations Director and Finance Manager to establish the yearly budget for the plant\r\nEnsuring that the plant’s achievements are in line with budget both monthly and yearly \r\nKPIs\r\nSetting and securing approvals for yearly KPIs for the plant\r\nEnsuring that the achievements of KPI’s are permanently in line with the objectives\r\nAnalysis of gaps and taking needed actions to close any identified gaps \r\nSOP\r\nEnsuring that capacity is permanently in line with load and adjusting resources to balance capacity where required\r\nMaking recommendations for new investment / capital expenditure\r\nAttending SOP meetings and representing the plant \r\nLean\r\nEnsuring that lean manufacturing gets a high focus with the organization including ensuring that all staff are motivated to remove non-value from the organization \r\nEnsuring that the plant is permanently well organized and clean (5S) \r\nCost \r\nFocuses on cost in order to keep them in line with budgets\r\nSuppliers\r\nDrives development of new local suppliers in order to support the business of the plants \r\nProfitability – Planning\r\n\r\nMakes recommendation to improve profitability of the organization\r\nAssists in the 5-year planning process \r\nFacility \r\n\r\nAct as the Facility Manager and is the primary contact for all Emerson activities regarding Facility usage\r\nIs the primary contact with the Landlord
