To generate and maintains customers of defined accounts / areas through sales activities (face to face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment) .\r\n\r\n1.2\r\n\r\nTo maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales, telephone, fax, written communications.\r\n\r\n1.3\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nTo ensure comprehensive & complete coverage of own portfolio covering all levels of accounts’ managerial & departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity.\r\n\r\n1.5\r\n\r\nTo implement & executes all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set.\r\n\r\n1.6\r\n\r\nTo solicit and serves transient and group business & meetings.\r\n\r\n1.7\r\n\r\nTo formulate corporate offer letters and yearly contracts and any other required business correspondence.\r\n\r\n1.8\r\n\r\nTo establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices with customers for transient and group business.\r\n\r\n1.9\r\n\r\nTo ensure that the response to any business request is actions within 24 hours\r\n\r\n1.10\r\n\r\nTo promote & produces sales leads for the Rotana Hotels outside of coverage area.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n1.11\r\n\r\nTo provide feedback to the Director of Sales & Marketing / Director of Sales / Senior Sales Managers / Sales Managers on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail, in his / her market areas.\r\n\r\n1.11\r\n\r\nTo arrange site inspections of hotel.\r\n\r\n1.12\r\n\r\nTo disseminate sales related information to other departments as appropriate.\r\n\r\n1.13\r\n\r\nTo maintain close communication with the Events Management Team in the negotiation process of their accounts.\r\n\r\n1.14\r\n\r\nTo attend all pre & post – conference meetings, as required, arranged by the Event’s Management Department .\r\n\r\n1.15\r\n\r\nTo follow up with the Events Management Team after the post – event meeting with Thank You calls and send Thank You Letter together.\r\n\r\n1.16\r\n\r\nTo perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established hotel policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.\r\n\r\n1.17\r\n\r\nTo handle incoming calls and ensures messages are taken an details are forwarded to the person conce
ed.\r\n\r\n1.18\r\n\r\nTo attend departmental and communication meeting as requested by Department Head.\r\n\r\n1.19\r\n\r\nTo attend major events in hotel & city as requested by Department Head.\r\n\r\n1.20\r\n\r\nTo closely monitor accounts revenue and business production of own corporate portfolio and that of any assigned Sales Executives.\r\n\r\n1.21\r\n\r\nTo maximize up selling opportunities whenever possible.\r\n\r\n1.22\r\n\r\nTo review direct competition and conducts regular research.\r\n\r\n1.24\r\n\r\nTo establish and maintains files of major accounts and assists Senior Sales Manager in maintaining the accounts management system.\r\n\r\n1.25\r\n\r\nTo ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximizes up selling opportunities whenever possible.\r\n\r\n1.26\r\n\r\nTo maintain an up to date account & contact database and details in property management system.\r\n\r\n1.27\r\n\r\nTo ensure comprehensive and up to date knowledge of properties’ unique selling points, features, amenities, services and policies.\r\n\r\n1.28\r\n\r\nTo closely coordinate and communicate with outbound sales office with regards to accounts/markets that are serviced by Outbound Sales.\r\n\r\n1.29\r\n\r\nTo ensure that Rotana Hotels Sales & Marketing Policies and Standard Operational Procedures are adhered to at all times. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n2. General Responsibilities\r\n \r\n\r\nTo promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.\r\nTo generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.\r\nTo display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.\r\nTo demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.\r\nTo adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.\r\nTo maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, staff and employees.\r\nTo maintain professional business confidentiality.\r\nTo have good knowledge of S&C, Microsoft Office & Microsoft outlook.
