You as a General Manager will be a part of the power grids division which delivers products, systems, service and software solutions as part of its comprehensive power & automation offering for the grid across the power value chain - serving utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure customers. In this role, you will be managing all aspects related to operations of a local manufacturing unit including the full scope of Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality & Operational Excellence, HSE, Logistics, Controlling and Marketing & Sales. You will be implementing the global strategy, operational and financial plans, and ensuring business development.\r\n\r\nYour responsibilities\r\n• Manage all strategic and operational aspects of the business and execute growth\r\n• Successful collaboration with all stakeholders; act as the local Site Manager\r\n• Develop market intelligence, identify new business opportunities, set ambitious targets, and expand market share while tracking performance in line with global objectives\r\n• Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure premium-quality products, services, and processes, in addition to monitoring quality metrics and supervising optimization measures\r\n• Draw on demonstrable leadership and change management skills to improve productivity by implementing lean enterprise approach at an operational and administrative level\r\n• Drive Pre-Qualification for Customers in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council)\r\n• Development of local organization\r\nYour background\r\nIdeally you should have a Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering in combination with a further education in Business Management with more than 8 years of work experience in a managerial position in production environment or in direct cooperation with the production with general manager responsibilities. You should have strong product expertise relating to GIS technology.\r\nTransmission & Distribution market knowledge in Saudi Arabia and GCC would be an advantage. Entrepreneurial thinking, excellent analytical and strategic abilities, complemented by strong leadership skills, vision, and integrity.\r\nExcellent communication skills, both written and oral is required with fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
