Job Description\r\n· Understand and analyse customer data\r\n\r\n· Capture users and business requirements\r\n\r\n· Review data and conduct data cleansing and refinement activities\r\n\r\n· Develop scripts and jobs to manage data and ETL\r\n\r\n· Design and develop Data warehouse ETL solutions using requisite tool suites\r\n\r\n· Assist in the ongoing development of technical best practices for data movement, data quality, data cleansing and other ETL related activities\r\n\r\n· Contributes to the ongoing support of existing Data Warehouse environments and applications, while being accountable to the business for overall application support and business conce
s and issues.\r\n\r\n· Train and Support users in order to enable them using and benefiting from the DWH\r\n\r\n· Maintain & Supervise current ETLs and secure optimal functionality\r\n\r\n· Monitor and enhance systems performance\r\n\r\n· Develop and conduct unit and integration activities and assist in User Acceptance testing.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n· Identifies innovative approaches, processes, products and services in support of the business strategy. Strives for continual process improvement throughout the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence delivery model aligning with strategy foundations. Contributes to and implements a high level roadmap to meet Bupa Business requirements while guiding and shaping improved effectiveness of the overall Enterprise Data Warehouse delivery.\r\n\r\n· Stays abreast of new technologies and trends in Data Warehousing. Involved in the research and evaluation of recommendations related to renewal and improvement in the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence space including hardware and software tools/technology procurement\r\n\r\nSkills\r\n· Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or MIS\r\n\r\n· Designing, developing, and implementing ETL and DWH Solutions.\r\n\r\n· Hand on experience with ETL tools e.g., SSIS, DataStage, Informatica.\r\n\r\n· Hands on working knowledge of SQL.\r\n\r\n· Exposure/experience with SQL databases, e.g., Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Postgres.\r\n\r\n· Technical expertise in data warehousing, data models, and database design development.\r\n\r\n· Experience with project management and system development methodology discipline.\r\n\r\n· Hands on Experience of different BI Tools (Cognos, Tableau, Power BI..etc).\r\n\r\n· Excellent Analytical skills\r\n\r\n· Excellent verbal and written communications\r\n\r\n· Strong organization skills\r\n\r\n· Ability to work on a team, as well as independently\r\n\r\n· Ability to proactively research solutions and best practices\r\n\r\n· Ability to debug and problem solve\r\n\r\n· 5 years in IT environment, 3 in similar role
