Core duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned:
Manages college-wide projects related to local, inte
ational, and program specific accreditation including accreditation compliance narratives, and logistics for the off-site and on-site visits, and electronic accreditation reviews of regional and program accreditation teams.
Serves as the primary resource on campus for accreditation standards.
Supports faculty and staff to plan, schedule, and coordinate academic and administrative educational support units in preparation of periodic program reviews, campus visits, and self-studies.
Remains up to date on standards and compliance requirements for NCAAA, EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA, and other higher education regulatory bodies.
Serves on committees to ensure that ongoing institutional practices continue to satisfy compliance with accreditation and regulatory bodies.
Oversees the progress of self-studies and accreditation reports.
Directs the implementation of multiple accreditation reporting requirements from multiple accrediting bodies simultaneously as required.
Initiates and manages the writing and edits process of all reports and ensures completion in a timely manner.
Decides on appropriate evidence for reporting that demonstrates compliance and the institution’s mission, vision, values, and goals.
Develops follow-up action items for accreditation compliance.
Maintain a positive, helpful, constructive attitude and work relationship with administrators, faculty, staff, and students.
Implements effective file management system for reports, supporting documentation, data, and correspondence with accrediting
Skills
Demonstrable ability to produce attractive, effective, and appropriate descriptions of School activities
Knowledge of accreditation processes for an education establishment
Significant knowledge of the business education sector, including pressures on time of academics
Experience of working with senior academics
Experience of working successfully to deadlines under pressure
Experience of successful team working
Knowledge of systems and processes used in customer service or office environment
Ability rapidly to assimilate information and take control of a project, working to a very tight deadline
Fluent, concise and accurate report writing skills
Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills – to work effectively with a wide range of colleagues, especially senior-level colleagues
Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
Good standards of numeracy
Ability to multi-task
Excellent IT skills including word processing and use of databases
Great attention to detail
Ability rapidly to gain understanding of accreditation bodies and assessment requirements
Awareness of commercial sensitivity and to be willing to keep information about the School confidential
Ability to communicate and motivate others to work to set schedule
Capacity for independent working as well as being enthusiastic about contributing as an active member of the team
Adaptable and able to deal positively with changing circumstances
