Role Purpose:
The jobs in this level are responsible for supporting the flight operations at the highest level of quality to participate in achieving set objectives. Work is done under direct supervision by more senior job family members by assisting in specific tasks and activities.
Accountabilities:
Policies & Procedures
· Follows all relevant Flight Operations policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that the work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Day-to-day Operations
· Implements the day-to-day operational activities assigned to Flight Operations to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
Job Specific Accountabilities
· Ensure that aircraft type requirements, documentation, company and manufacturer requirements and updates are strictly observed and met on due time.
· Ensure that SAUDIA all training providers personnel, checking personnel , flight crew , training facilities, devices , equipment & courses materials/ curriculum are in compliance with GACA and set standards mandated by SAUDIA.
· Ensure implementation of safety and efficiency standards in the construction, maintenance and updating of OPT/FlySmart and respective MELs/CDLs of SAUDIA fleet to ensure safe and efficient conduct of all SAUDIA’s Flights.
· Ensure that all conce
ed departments and the flight deck crewmembers receive the required updates of relevant publications and manuals to comply with all set requirements by Aviation applicable gove
ing bodiesand World Aviation Organizations Standards.
· Performs any other related functions assigned by superiors.
FOPE – Flight Operations Performance Engineering Accountabilities:
· Produce Takeoff, Landing and enroute aircraft performance data in accordance aviation regulations.
· Writing/editing relevant aircraft performance documentations (such as manuals, bulletins and/or NOTAMs) in accordance with Flight Operations policies and compliance with regulatory rules.
· Obtain required manufacturer databases and established performance baseline to produce/validate flight planning system aircraft performance database.
· Assist in Administrating manufacturer and third-party Performance Software (OPT, PET, PEP, FSA, BCOP. etc.). Including database management and program outputs validation.
· Produce and publish aircraft performance electronic data packages to be used in aircraft performance application (such as OPT and FSA).
· Maintain airports characteristics and obstruction database systems.
· As required, participate in airport surveys when necessary to acquire safe and accurate operational performance data.
· Collect and validate relevant operations and fuel data from variety of data sources (ACARS, FDM, AMADUS, FM..etc).
· Analyze fuel data to support optimum flight operations through Aircraft Performance Monitoring, Fuel Tankering polices, Cost Index and Taxi-out/in fuel planning and generate technical reports.
· Conduct route payload/range and/or Aircraft/Route suitability analyses for optimum flight planning.
· Assisting in performing assigned project task, including completing of individual deliverables, preparation of meetings and follow-up, and writing required documentation.
· Supporting Line fleet, Royal Fleet and VIP flights.
· Performs any other related functions assigned by superiors.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required English Level:
· Standardized Test for English Proficiency (STEP) by QIYAS with a minimum score of 72.
· The issuance date of the test MUST not exceed Two years from the application date.
Education:
· Minimum of Bachelor’s degree on Aeronautical/ Aerospace Engineering.
· Minimum overall GPA of (3.75 out of 5) and (2.75 out of 4) for Bachelor degree holders.
· Minimum overall GPA of (4 out of 5) and (3 out of 4) for Masters degree holders.
