Under the direction of the Procurement Director, the Procurement Contracts Sr. Administrator is responsible of carrying out a range of procurement activities including supporting in procurement strategy and plan development, purchase requisitions review, requests for proposal development, bids evaluation, contracts drafting and vendor management.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Take ownership in the execution of own activities, in accordance with the overall departmental goals, initiatives and plans
2. Implement and execute policies and procedures during day-to-day activities and operations
3. Work alongside other team members and actively contribute to build a productive and open work environment
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support in the development and implementation of SCA-wide procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing
2. Manage the tender cycle: identify tender committee team members, manage criteria evaluation development, develop contract terms (alongside Legal Affairs), interface and negotiate with bidders and obtain the required approval from conce
ed stakeholders for contract awarding and signing
3. Manage the evaluation of commercial and technical bids in accordance with the defined evaluation process and criteria
4. Conduct sourcing of different suppliers, including collection of quotations from suppliers through to evaluation and selection
5. Handle corporate procurement purchases for SCA, including the preparation, issuance and processing of POs, RFQs and other documents
6. Monitor and follow up on procurement transactions including, the administration of orders, deliveries and complaints / follows ups
7. Monitor adherence of purchasing process across SCA, ensuring it is carried out within the plan, budget and procurement policies & procedures
8. Follow-up with conce
ed departments within SCA, specifically Finance & Accounting, to ensure the on-time disbursement of funds in accordance with contractual agreements and deadlines
9. Review and track compliance throughout the entire contract lifecycle
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent is preferred
Proficiency in English and Arabic Language is required
