1. Develop department strategy in line with Wataniya’s strategy with regards to Cyber Security.

2. Set up the operation plan of Information Security department and develop Information Security scope and procedures.

3. Create and implement a strategy for the deployment of information security technologies.

4. Protect the intellectual property of the organization at all times.

5. Review and approve security policies, procedures, standards and controls, and make sure that cyber security policies and procedures are communicated to all personnel and that compliance is enforced.

6. Perform IT security risk assessments and recommend solutions to minimize threats.

7. Monitor security vulnerabilities and hacking threats in network and host systems.

8. Communicate with key stakeholders about IT security threats.

9. Develop strategies to handle security incidents and trigger investigations.

10. Comply with the latest regulations and ensure compliance with SAMA requirements.

11. Develop and implement business continuity plans to ensure service is continuous when a change programmed is introduced or a security breach occurs or in the event that the disaster recovery plan needs to be triggered.

12. Deliver new security technology approaches and implement next generation solutions.

13. Conduct a continuous assessment of current IT security practices and systems and identify areas for improvement.
