JOB PURPOSE
To actively support the launch & recovery of aircraft and flight line tasks within the T165 Hawk Flight Line environment, to meet the operational training requirements of O&AT at KFAB.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
The Hawk AMS Aircaft Supervisor should meet the following criteria
· Will be able to demonstrate experience in aircraft maintenance and engineering and have a minimum of 3 consecutive years proven AMS experience within a Hawk servicing envio
ment
· Must be trained in aircraft engineering or a related technical discipline at a civilian or military school of technical training, or have completed an appropriate engineering apprenticeship
· Must have a sound understanding of the RSAF 4-1-7166 series and supporting technical publications applicable to his work area
· Must be a quality minded, mature, individual that adopts a positive and proactive approach to aircraft maintenance and support issues
· Must be prepared to take on the responsibilities of a Production Inspector
· Must be computer literate with a sound understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, Autolog and MiroGOLD
· Must have and be able to demonstrate sound oral and written two-way communication skills with the ability to be tactful, discreet and confident in dealing with people at all levels
· Be able to motivate people in a mixed EE/SN workforce
· Must be able to work on his own initiative to resolve complex technical issues
· Must be able to spot exceptional ability in SN employees and be able to mentor them to develop within the company
· Support the Superintendents in the assigned work areas during periods of absence by the incumbent
Must hold a current driving licence

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
The efficient day to day running of the Flight Line Supervisor Operational Maintenance and or Cell Supervisor Desk carring out the duties of but not limited to:
Supervision of good engineering practice and compliance with RSAF Technical Orders
Manage the calibration program within his work area
Direct personnel to carry out TCTO’s and Special inspections as required
Have a thorough knowledge of Aircraft Safety devices and Aircraft operating areas and ensure staff compliance of associated processes
Support deployments to other bases within and out of KSA when required and be able to prepare equipment to support these deployments
Manage and provide functional guidance to the SNTTP programs in respect of any engineering issues that may arise within their work area
Act as MIIP on any aircraft or ground support technical related issues
Supervision of tool control and the KFAB SAFO program including Duty Supervisor for the Tool Crib
Be able to provide functional guidance to subordinates in respect of any engineering issues that may arise within his Trade Boundaries
Liaise with Aeronautical Engineering Squadron on any outstanding Engineering Assist Requests
Monitor all supply issues that may affect the TCTO programm
Manage the MOI’s and co-ordinate the distribution
Implementation of BAE Systems human resources policies and procedures when required
Providing up to date briefings and information to all conce
ed parties on daily progress and issues in his work area
WORK DIRECTION
The Hawk AMS Aircaft Maintenance Technician Supervisor is directed through
RSAF and BAE Systems Policies and Procedures

DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY

PLANNING I ORGANISING
The Job Holder will undertake the following activities as a minimum:
To work with the relevant Flight Line/Maintenance Superintendents in conjunction with the Maintenance Control, Planning ,Scheduling and Supply departments to produce serviceable aircraft in line with laid down servicing plans and defect rectification. As well as proactively look forward to try and identify future issues that could affect the scheduled maintenance plan.
Proactively planning and implementing development of Saudi Nationals
Supervision of all Flight Servicings, Launch and Recovery and AC maintenance activities in line with Flight line operations.
SUBORDINATES
Organizing a multi cultural team of up to 6-15 assigned personnel daily.
REPORT PREPARATION
Provide up to date briefings and information to all conce
ed parties on daily progress and issues in his work area if and when required by his line management.
Hold Weekly meetings with department personnel to ensure all company and customer information is passed on.
