Oversees all technical aspects and technological resources for the company. Establishes a technological vision for the company and leads the company's technological development. Responsible for ensuring that technological resource are align with the company's business needs.
Lead IT team to ensure that they are well motivated and receive all necessary training and development required to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
Contribute to the development of the company’s strategic and business plans, particularly conce
ing information technology, in support of the company’s mission and core objectives.
Develop an annual business plan and operating budget for the department and monitor the implementation of these to ensure that financial targets to meet.
Negotiate service level agreements with inte
al customers and service providers and monitor service delivery to ensure that agreed targets and standards to meet.
Negotiate contracts with exte
al providers for services and products which cannot be provided inte
ally and monitor service delivery to ensure that agreed targets and standards are met.
Oversee the development and implementation of company-wide technology systems, which provide all required support to company operations.
Act as a company-wide source of expertise on information technology to ensure the company has the best possible information for effective decision-making and accessing data.
Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Oversee the company's data, security and maintenance of the company’s network.
Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics.
Work closely with other units to define and deliver new products and enhancements.
Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape.
Bachelors/Master degree in Computer Science or related field.
Membership of relevant professional body.
8 years working in a technological role.
Substantial executive management experience and experience of managing budgets.
Advanced technological skill set and a demonstrated history with technology.
Exceptional team management skills.
