[LEFT]Role Purpose
Ensure the assigned sales team attains the set sales, coverage, distribution and visibility targets thus enabling the company to meet its profitability objectives.
Key Accountabilities
• Allocates the Sales forecasts by product, month, area and channel for the assigned area based on targets set by the District manager.
• Set and plan sales budgets in line with company overall profitability targets as assigned by District Manager.
• Meet weekly, monthly and annual sales targets for each brand and product.
• Build and maintain healthy relationships with key clients.

• Maximize distribution activities for own assigned areas and optimize distribution and visibility as well as monthly and quarterly distribution initiatives.
• Supervise sales activities within assigned areas and units to ensure sales targets are met.
• Assist in the development and improvement of sales staff capability and skills.
• Follow-up on collection of outstanding payments from customers and retailers to ensure all outstanding amounts are collected in a timely manner.
• Report on competitions’ activities and performance and other relevant information to Sales Manager and/or conce
ed employees in other departments in the company (e.g. marketing department).
• Reviews and analyzes monthly, weekly and daily sales analysis reports to take appropriate corrective action.
• Ensures the effective execution of promotional and special marketing events.
• Issues monthly update reports covering all aspects of sales operation related to his team and assigned area.
• Conducts frequent field visits as defined by the District manager to ensure that the sales fundamentals are properly implemented and that trade relations are well maintained.
