[LEFT]Divisional Transport Manager (Transport & Logistics) Saudi Arabia - Al Kharj - Transport & Logistics - KSA Transportation / Shipping / Freight Forwarding - Any Nationality - Male CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To provide Almarai Transport & Logistics with a total Transport solution by overseeing a department that provides Long Haul transportation services across the GCC including finished goods deliveries & back hauling movements and help to achieve the five year plan by ensuring facilities and resources are identified, sourced and implemented enabling the Almarai Group of companies achieve its targeted levels of growth. ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION: 1. Graduate in Operational management or business administration bias. 1. Master in Transport and Logistics. NON-ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: 1. Excellent English Language 2. Must understand the interdependency of end to end supply chain. 1. Knowledge of Arabic language 2. Membership of recognised professional logistics or transport institution. 3. Exposure to SAP, Optimisation tools, Telemetric and Vehicle Tracking Systems 4. Direct project management. 5. Lean manufacturing principles. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 1. 12 – 15 years minimal Senior Operational Management experience in an FMCG short shelf life environment. 1. 5-10 years working experience in transport operation management in GCC. 2. General Management experience. COMPETENCIES: Must be able to think on the move and take immediate decisions. Ability to lead from the front. Strategic thinker capable of delivering pragmatic solutions and World Class best practices. Highly numerate data rational with strong analytical and planning skills. Confident communicator. An influential change manager. Excellent business acumen. Strong customer focus. Excellent Risk and H&S awareness.
