This includes the installation, commissioning, repair/calibration, overhaul, troubleshoot, fault diagnosis and Preventive Maintenance (PM) of the system and associated peripheral equipment as required to maintain the plant in a safe, reliable and efficient operational mode. In addition, the incumbent will be required to support and maintain other Automation systems. Skills Educational Requirements or Equivalent: Technicians Certificate in Automation System Electronics or Instrumentation from recognized Technical College or Polytechnic. Computer Natural Comprehensive range of vendor and general instrument and appropriate DCS/PLC maintenance. Specialized Knowledge: Good understanding of installation, support and maintenance of typical DCS & PLC equipment as used in a mode
refinery. Good working knowledge of field instrumentation and control theory, and an understanding of electronics systems and communications.
