Responsibilities/activities: Support the annual plan and budget preparation of the division. Provide data and information for planning and decision making by the Division Manager. Determine and collect needs from stakeholders. Support in the documentation related to MCPS, in coordination with the conce
ed divisions, to facilitate the identification of regional and integration projects. Support the development of an IDB Group Regional Integration and Economic Framework aiming at helping member countries to synergize on each other’s strengths and potentials, reduce economic and trade barriers between them, and open new doors for wealth creation, for mutual benefit. Draft the terms of frameworks and agreements under the guidance of senior staff and division manager. Develop policies and frameworks for cooperation. Support the implementation of MOUs Assist in meetings preparation and documentation. Collaborate with OIC, its Organs and Institutions on behalf of the IDB Group on matters related to cooperation and coordination between Member Countries. Assist in work related to promotion of regional and economic integration through regional interventions, technical assistance and capacity building (operations, dialogue, knowledge products, etc,) that aim at solving complex and diverse barriers and infrastructure constraints that hamper the regional integration process and discourage investment. Participate in discussions to provide Trade-related Technical Assistance (TRTA) as it relates to economic and regional integration of member countries among themselves and with the global economy. Assist in identifying solutions to issues that regulate trade and investment and business activities; complex customs arrangements; also propose solutions to the lack of harmonization of policies, regulations and procedures gove

t. Attend forums and events related to Economic Integration of Member Countries as instructed by Division Manager. Draft routine reports and briefs as required by senior staff and Division Manager Support senior staff in the preparation of background documents, reports and papers relating to conferences and meetings organized by OIC, its Institutions and Standing Committees, such as, the Islamic Summit, the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers, the Commission on Social and Cultural Affairs, COMCEC, etc. Qualification & Experience: Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Economics / Inte
ational Trade and Development / any relevant field. 8 years relevant experience in cooperation work within a similar institution. Fluency in English is essential. Arabic & French will be preferred.
