CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Drive inventory accuracy across all T&L warehouses ensuring full compliance to all handling and storage procedures in order to meet all Sales and Manufacturing demand. Identification of improvement opportunities in the current handling and storage solutions. ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION: Degree in Engineering / Business management. NON ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: Proficient in English language; Exposure to SAP Warehouse Management Systems, Warehouse Automation systems, Optimisation tools. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years experience working in automated warehouses; Experience of working with SAP EWM. COMPETENCIES: Ability to work under pressure and influence others to work to agreed targets and timelines; Ability to multi skill / task; Technically competent – must understand complex engineering; Strong communicator up to Executive level; Strong attention to detail; Competent use of software aids – Microsoft Office suite etc; Good negotiation skills; and Pragmatic approach to problem solving
