Job Purpose: Optimize various operating processes and procedures. Improve the plant performance and reliability by applying his technical skills and knowledge. Functional Duties: - Apply his skills,experience and knowledge to audit the operational processes of the plant to improve the work flow. - Perform regular root- cause analysis to identify any technical issues. Recommend solutions and quick fixes. - Create, lead and, assist improvementteams and assist the expertise centers on issues relating to their area of expertise (i.e., work with reliability engineer to resolve mechanical reliability issues). - Identify areas for network improvement with technical resources and Most EffectiveTechnology (MET). - Advise on EH&S program to ensure it achieves EH&S goals and comply with regulatory and permit requirements. - Work with production data analysis people to identify permanent plant process changes and standard update for thediamond SAP system. - Assess the capabilities of the teams and work on eliminating technical gaps through effective trainings and knowledge sharing. - Enhance front- line skills and knowledge by coordinating and administering coaching sessions onprocess, equipment, engineering, etc. - Perform any job- related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager. Education: Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineeringor any related engineering field. Years of Experince: 13 yeas
