Job Description
Ensures all managers in his department have personal objectives and KPIs which cascade down the department deliverables, regularly reviews performance and provide annual performance rating for his direct reportees.
Role models the ethics and values of the business, demonstrates cultural sensitivity, and maintains high personal visibility in his own and other departments.
Provide input into the formulation of strategy of the supply chain function and support the execution in order to support the implementation of the company expansion plan.
Manage the inventory process (until it reaches the DC) and measures performance to ensure availability of items.
Build relations with suppliers, through regular communication and meetings.
Participate in meetings with key vendors to review service levels and performance and resolve any issues.
Defines days of cover based on strategy and ensure adherence in order to minimize supply chain cost.
Agree with senior inventory controller days of cover based on supplier reliability, and item sensitivity.
Ensure team resources are available to cover the new store requirements.
Assign project leader (store champion) to look after all details for a specific store opening related to supply chain
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of inventory information to the department and to other departments.
Skills
University degree in business management or industrial engineering.
Minimum of 5 years experience in the field.
Strong PC skills including MS Office
Arabic & English speaking and writing.
Education
Business Administration OR Industrial Engineering
