Job Description Job Summary Ensure that all project activities are being effectively executed in accordance with contractual requirements, cost/ time objective and technical standards, timely highlighting the major non-compliances and suggesting mitigation procedures. Establish and maintain effective contacts with Clients, Consultants and other parties involved. Roles & Responsibilities 1Interpret and evaluate terms and conditions of the executed Contract Documents from commercial, technical, financial and legal point of view. 2Responsible for the execution of project contracts functions specifically for the administration of O&M Contracts. 3Coordinate with Plant Managers for ensuring compliance of the contractual requirements both for pre and post commercial operation. Assessed applicable penalties, Liquidated Damages, and incentives based on continuous performance monitoring. 4Ensure compliance to the Environmental regulations and submission of biannual audit reports to the conce
ed authority. 5Participation in pre-award and contract administration functions including contract preparation, negotiation and award for contracts and post-award implementation of engineering contracts. 6Preparation/ drafting of contractual letters/ submittal in coordination with the project team. 7Review and draft of amendments to the contracts for any inconsistency, errors or ambiguity. Prepared change orders requests as per the requirement and suggestion received from Plant Mangers. 8Coordinate with the technical office for solving technical issues particularly that affecting plant water and power availability. 9Study and recommend for management major methods and programs for continuous improvement in contract Administration functions. 10Ensure that Saudization requirement are being followed, gove
ment policies for wages and employee social securities are implemented. 11Coordinate with Finance departments in preparation/ checking of draft applications for Contracts Deliverables performance bonds & Insurance and also monitoring validity/ renewals and contract/ subcontract expiry. 12Ensure that systematic attention is given to safe methods of working and that all safety procedures are followed aptly. 13Ensure Quality standards with effective and systematic review and inspections; ensure that work is regulated and controlled to the specified standards. 14Responsible for customer feedback management through a satisfaction survey and responsible for initiating the corrective action as per of Customer Satisfaction analysis. 15Participate and provide inputs to Management for negotiation with Project Companies to obtain settlement for the disputes. Act as Lead person for case preparation on contractual issues including interfacing with Legal. 16Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated. 17Identify, establish and monitor IMS objectives, Targets and programs. 18Provide necessary resources for effective implementation and sustenance of IMS. 19Report IMS performance to the management periodically. 20Ensure Legal compliance with respect to their scope of activities. 21Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions. 22 Identify the competency gap for their subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions. 23 Carry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees. 24Perform other duties as assigned. Skills Educational Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related filed Preferred:Additional qualification in Commerce and Finance. Minimum Experience Minimum: 10 years in power generation related to IPPs, IWPPs and IWPs Contracts. Preferable:Extensive hands-on experience in Contract Administration. Required Skills / Competencies 1.Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles 2.Knowledge of applicable legal requirements 3.Hazard Risk assessment 4.Aspect Impact assessment 5.Leadership and communication skills 6.In-depth knowledge of industry standard forms of contracting procedures in Power and Water generation in private sector; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent command in English language; Ability to work independently, and as a team leader, with minimal supervision; Self-directed, proactive, motivated, enjoy a changing environment and have a positive, entrepreneurial attitude. Desired certification / Job specific skill / Training Membership of Professional Societies for Contract administration ISO9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 awareness/working knowledge is preferred
