Apply statistical models and methods to utilise complex-data and solve business, engineering, the sciences issues, particularly the labour market; Decide data sets are needed to answer complex questions or problems; Use statistical techniques and mathematical skills to assess the probability of an event within the Labour market and its socio-economic consequences; Determine methods for finding or collecting data and what data is needed to address specific business problems; Develop and test experimental designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods; Design surveys or experiments or opinion polls; Analyse and interpret statistical results in order to identify significant differences in relationships among sources of information; Report conclusions from analyses; Complete the holistic approach to applied statistics that conce
s the collection, processing, compilation, dissemination, and analysis of economic data; Use of tools for tabulating and analysing data such as STATA, SAS, MatLab, R and similar statistical tools.
