SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYST: Gather business requirements and translate them into IT business solutions. Identify suitable IT technologies for implementation and ensure that the solutions developed are according to the specified business requirements of the IDB Group. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES: Contribute to annual departmental planning by providing input on Innovation initiatives and projects. Contribute in the innovation Frameworks and strategies for the promotion of innovation within the IDB Group Apply quality knowledge of Innovation principles to ensure efficiency in achieving the Group objectives. Review and analyse business users needs and documents the existing IT solutions and business processes Analyse and evaluate the adequacy of existing IT solutions and recommend enhancements Contribute in the design of new IT solutions and identify required hardware & software Technically guide efforts to design and implement key inputs, procedures and outputs of IT solutions based on business needs of user design user interface, outputs, data structures, system logic, system controls, program specs, program flow charts and data flow diagrams use CASE tools and techniques for system design and analysis design computer program and systems specifications using standard structuring tools develop and implement data migration strategy for migrating existing data from legacy systems implement business processes and data structuring mode Provide front-line contact with IDB Group business users on their business applications requirements Design, review and monitor the preparation of data dictionary and meta data Design, organize and monitor the walkthrough program design Document software with help files, procedure manuals, and web sites with frequently asked questions Train end users and ensure system efficiency Monitor activities of system analysis and design till completion of development life cycle Monitor the quality, accuracy and consistency of deliverables Plan estimates for completion of analysis and design tasks Review and evaluate systems performance Monitor the completion of projects in time, budget and the required quality Monitor the engagement of all project stakeholders during progress in the analysis stage of projects by preparation and presentation of periodic status updates on current projects Review the evaluation of different vendor solutions to meet the business needs Act as the focal point for vendors on IT solution analysis and design requirements Review and recommend best practices policies and rules used in other MDBs and other Inte
ational organizations Provide technical advice to staff on new IT systems and technology solutions Participate in training of end users related to area of expertise Provide consultancy services to users of IDB Group systems Ensure that best practices are used for system analysis and design activities Review and conduct benchmark with other MDBs for relevant IT topics Review and conduct Gap Analysis of IDB Group to identify areas of improvement Prepare and participate in the preparation of the reports including data collection and analysis, recommendations, write-up, and presentation JOB REQUIREMENTS: Computer Science / Engineering / Information Technology / Education Technology / Communications / any related discipline Qualification Level Bacholer Degree Master’s Degree Doctorate Experience 12 years 9 years 7 years Related certifications in Systems Analysis and Design Related certifications in Data Modelling LANGUAGES: Languages English Required Arabic Preferred French Preferred OTHER COMPETENCIES: Experience of Misys FusionInvest (SOHIS) Treasury and Investments System through implementation and / or support. Understanding of SWIFT format and confirmation messages Competence in Crystal Reports Writer as used in Misys FusionInvest. Ability to write Queries in Oracle SQL. Experience in developing using the Misys Toolkit and development in C++ programming language Experience in developing in XLS code used in Misys FusionInvest.
