Laboratory technicians examine raw materials, semi processed and finished products samplesagainst acceptable standards. These technicians typically perform their job duties according topreviously set sampling plan and under the guidance of Live production Quality Manager. Assisting in the provision of company needs in terms of microbiological testing to aconsistently high standard. Perform job tasks with adherence to all company standard operating procedures. Performs physical, microbiological, chemical, or serological tests on a variety of samples. Operates, adjusts, and maintains scientific instruments by following operating instructions,troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance/calibration and repairs. Carrying out practical microbiological testing of different production samples. Carrying out testing of water and environmental samples. Prepares chemical reagents and microbiological media according to formulae; assumesresponsibility for accuracy in the preparation and standardization of solutions. Ensuring that all information relating to microbiological testing is recorded accurately andcommunicated to his supervisor. Keeps records of all laboratory activities. Operating test and testing equipment in GLP (good laboratory practices). Sustain the correct laboratory (personal and environmental) hygiene practices. Attending inte

al training that the company considers essential. Perform basic laboratory and investigative procedures that involve collecting, recording,organizing, and verifying the accuracy of data, perform calculations and prepare charts,graphs, and reports. Escalate any deviation in the standards to his direct supervisor or inline manager. Keeps reporting of inventories of supplies and stocks on hand for laboratory use. Conduct general lab work, including cleaning and sterilizing laboratory equipment Qualification: Bachelor degree or equivalent diploma
