Join Fairmont Hotels and Resorts as a Housekeeping Storekeeper, You will be responsible for the high standard of work in the Storeroom and the best possible care of linen used in the hotel. Hotel Overview: Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel, is located only a few steps away from the Masjid Al Haraam and the Holy Ka’aba. This 76-story hotel, one of the world’s tallest, is the focal point of the Abraj Al Bait Complex, part of the King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project. The Hotel authentic hospitality is seen throughout 858 rooms. Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: · Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service · Inventories and records Guest Supplies, Operating Supplies, Chemical Supplies and Printing Supplies orders filled for delivery to the designation. · Provide constant update to the managers of Housekeeping to ensure that the Supplies are sufficient for operation. · Monitor all guest supplies replenishments on a regular basis as laid down by the managers of Housekeeping. · Ensure that all supplies coming from general store and outside must be transfer to Housekeeping store from receiving area in Good condition. · The ability to issue and store guest supplies for operation needs of the hotel while maintaining proper inventory systems. · The ability to keep the surrounding physical area cleans of any materials. · The ability to provide supplies/chemicals/small equipment to Housekeepers, as necessary. · Assist Managers to prepare monthly Consumption. · To be aware of Health and safety regulations of the Housekeeping. · Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Previous housekeeping experience an asset Excellent communication and organisational skills Highly responsible & reliable Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting Occasional ascending or descending of stairs and ramps
