SECTION I: JOB PURPOSE: This role is responsible for managing the end to end process of Resource Mobilization & FIs Relationship division by mobilizing funds for Trade Finance operations through various co-financing, syndication, two-step Murabaha financing and other mechanism; managing a wide network of relationships with Financial Institutions for ITFC and facilitating key interactions and mutually beneficial strategic partnerships with them to secure funds for Trade Finance operations. SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Managerial Responsibilities:Supervising the Assistant Managers and Administrative Staff under the Resource Mobilization & FIs Relationship division. Core Responsibilities:Resource Mobilization Supervising the end to end interactions with Financial Institutions during the syndication process when ITFC is the Lead Arranger (Mudarib) from initiating discussions to tap interest and selling the syndicate product to leading the implementation. Examining the feasibility of new potential transactions to ensure that avenues for syndicate funding are available within ITFC’s network of Financial Institutions. Preparing reports to facilitate comprehensive understanding of the financing policies, forecasts, plans, history and financial standing of the various Financial Institutions in order to examine suitability for partnership on different kinds of syndicate deals. Liaising inte

ed departments to ensure that the necessary documents are finalized and approved to ensure timely execution of the co-financing, syndicated and two-step Murabaha transactions and ensuring legality of these means from a Shariah and statutory standpoint. Projecting annual fund requirements and advising the GM-Treasury on the feasibility of using additional or new mechanisms of resource mobilization. Implementing the policies and guidelines related to the resource mobilization and FIs relations to effectively manage ITFC partnership network ITFC. Relationship Management with Financial Institutions Building market intelligence to understand of the predominant players from financial institutions operating in the trade finance space in specific member countries, and their operations and activities. Identifying and targeting suitable Financial Institutions to include in the ITFC network for facilitating potential partnerships on syndicate deals in the future. Participating in roadshows, conferences, seminars and and market positioning activities of ITFC with the GM-Treasury in order to increase visibility for ITFC. Networking with Financial Institutions to introduce ITFC’s institutional profile, service offerings and areas of operation as well as capturing the Financial Institution’s profile and broad expectations of acceptable terms for financing for subsequent interaction. ational and regional financial hubs and centers to build new and strengthen the existing partnerships with FIs for mobilizing resources for operations in specific member countries. Participating in general Treasury’s missions, conferences, seminars and market-positioning activities as well as high-level missions with CEO/DCEO, as required, in order to increase visibility for ITFC. Division Responsibilities Preparing accurate and periodic reports on the performance and activities of Division to facilitate comprehensive understanding of the financing policies, forecasts, plans, history and financial standing of the various financial institutions in order to examine suitability for partnership on different kinds of trade finance operations. Assisting in establishing the performance benchmarks for the Division in order to ensure adherence to targets set. Supervising accurate and periodic report preparation on the status of Resource Mobilization and reporting the same to the GM-Treasury. Implementing plans, systems and inte

all aspects of the Resource Mobilization & FIs Relationship division in accordance with the established policies of the Treasury Department, overall direction of the ITFC Strategy and Regulatory & Shariah requirements in order to minimize the market and operational risks. Undertaking improvement initiatives at the division level (such as leveraging technology for maintaining databases and market intelligence) in order to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Treasury Department. SECTION IV: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Educational QualificationsBachelors/ Graduate degree in: Business, Finance or EconomicsCertificationsCFA, ACT Certification for treasurers is preferable Language Skills: English. Arabic/French is preferable
