The role is transactional in nature and involves taking part in the full range of the investment/financing cycle from origination, evaluation, structuring to execution. The Associate will typically work as part of a deal team under the direct supervision of more senior team members, and will exclusively work on term finance transaction across different sectors and geographies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES OF THE ROLE: Support senior staff in originating term finance transactions that are aligned with ICD’s credit policies and guidelines Collect transaction documents and source relevant info required to prepare concept notes and other inte
al reports and memos. Review and analyze commercial, financial and developmental merits of proposed transactions Take part in due diligence exercises and liaise with exte
al parties (sponsors, advisors, cofinanciers) Coordinate and collaborate with inte
al parties (RMD, LGL, Shariah, Finance, others) to ensure smooth transaction approval processing. Participate in preparing and finalizing deal documentation and agreements as required Prepare presentations, portfolio reports and updates, etc as required by Division Head and Department Director KEY OUTPUT / RESULTS FROM THE ROLE (KPI’S): Approvals and disbursements Revenue generated Timely completion of the upstream investment process Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Business or Finance MBA or a relevant post graduate certificate; CFA, CPA will be an advantage Work Experience:: 5-7 years of experience in project finance for Infrastructure
