Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Group Director of Talent & Culture, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating. Explaining talent & culture policies, procedures, organizational and local laws, and standards to new and existing colleagues. Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed. Informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc. Preparing employment contracts as per the organizational policy & procedure align with local laws and amend it whenever organizational or local policy & procedures changes. Addressing any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations. Processing all employee action forms and ensuring proper approval. Overseeing hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks. Assisting with processing employee grievances. Overseeing engagement programs and other employee relations work. Preparing gove
ment reports as to remain in compliance. Qualifications : Diploma/Degree in Administration, Hospitality or Talent & Culture an asset Previous experience as a departmental recruiter an asset Must thrive on being busy and be able to remain focused and calm in an often hectic office environment Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral Must be extremely organized with a keen eye for detail, a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize Enjoy creative problem solving and sharing opinions Demonstrated knowledge of Windows: MS Word, MS Exel, and MS Publisher at an advanced level is required Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Taleo, and Visio an asset Minimum keyboarding speed of 60 wpm
